Well at long last Lee Moore got himself out for a well-earned trip for a few hours away from the hubbub of everyday life, here's what he had to say about his trip
Got myself out a couple of nights ago for a quick night on a local club water, after having bit of a walk about and finding a few fish I decided to actually move as pressure from a few other anglers was building in the area, so thought the fish would push out

So on the wonder I went again....found a nice little corner swim with a gentle breeze pushing into and with the afternoon sun working its way round that bank I was confident a few fish world also be in the area!
Two stiff hinged rigs were sent out with #milky pop-ups attached, one to a snaggy tree line the other to open water. The rods had been out no more than half hour or so when the margin rods was away! The first pretty scaley safely in the net and the reason I joined the lake 😉
Darkness came and so did the cold! A touch of frost that I wasn't expecting....but the fish didn't mind too much and around 1 in the morning the margin rod was away again! And this time an even better looking scaley laid there!
That was it for me, an early pack up as usual due to getting back for a day of rolling was needed
